Dirt Crazy Dorper's
Alveston Pastoral
We manage our commercial Dorper flock to rebuilding the health of our soils, they are a crucial part of the nutrient cycle and our environment. Their hooves condition the ground surface, get organic matter back into the soil and their dung provides nutrients for plant and microbial growth. We have been breading Dorper's in excess of 12 years and have found them an excellent fit in our management plan and grass fed lamb enterprise. We have been breeding for conformation, hardiness and eating quality. They have proven themselves through out less than favorable times by making sale weights on limited pasture. Ewes
Dirt Crazy Ewes
We maintain a line of quality commercial ewes which can be purchased by expressions of interest when stock are available. We are currently rebuilding our flock from the resent drought however please register your interest and we will keep in contact with you regarding availability.
Lambs
Dirt Crazy Lambs
Lambs are being born and growing all the time. If you are interested in quality young breeding stock or ram lambs please register your interest and we will contact you with regards to availability.
If you wish to try before you buy you can purchase a whole or half lamb for your freezer and taste the superior eating quality.
